Would you or wouldn't you?

Question

This one's for the guys. If you let your girlfriend befriend one of your guy friends, and you let them go out together to just hang out, like go out to eat and go to a store, and then your girlfriend a couple days later says "He hasn't talked me really since, he gives one word answers and sometimes reads and doesn't reply." He as a friend is making her feel ignored. So my question is, would you ask your friend if they have some sort of problem with your girlfriend, because your girlfriend was clearly hurt and bothered by it with out your girlfriend asking you to? Because in my personal experience, my girlfriend told me about this and I told her "I did what any boyfriend would do and asked him about it," so I'm curious to know if you guys as boyfriends would do the same for your girlfriend? I'm more than willing to take in and accept any fees back you guys give. *Girls are more than welcome to give their opinions too!*

Girl here.... ummmm..... did you say that he is your friend that she befriended and hung out with? If so, this is my opinion on all that. 
 Sooo.... i have had conversations with my Husband's friends throughout the years. Some i knew before he did. I have NEVER had lunch with them (unless hubby was with us) or went shopping with them (again, unless hubby was with us, like double dates).  Mind you, i have known some of these guys for years before he has, but again, had no reason to spend time with them alone, ever really. 
 From my side, the only time my hubby has ever "hung out" with one of my friends without me, was when they worked together (so not really hanging out, they were working) or when my friend would have to run him somewhere for me (once was to a court hearing because i had to work and had our only car, another was when he was driven to me at a hospital when i went into early labor). He doesn't text my friends,  unless it was about me, or scheduling something for me (suprise party, suprise girls night). I have only texted his friends when regards came to him, or scheduling double dates.
 So.... that being said, if those friends were giving me one word answers, ok, don't really care. They are not my best friend, they are not my boyfriend, so ok. 
 And an additional note, i have messaged hubby's brother (lives in a different state) asking how he and his family are doing, checking on them when disastor hits his state. But again, not anything else. 
 The fact that she is all upset that he is "acting" this way, really has me wondering. Why does she care so much? And why was she spending so much time with him, with just him and not you? 
 I have a neighbor here, that she works durring the dayn her man has the kids at home. I have my kids while hubby sleeps (3rd shift worker). We have occasional make shift play dates. But again, the only time we text is when asking if the other one has something (like paint, sugar, ect). Why? Boundaries.

I stopped reading at “you let them go hang out together.” Maybe it’s because I’m married with four kids but if my wife is hanging out with anyone it better be me!

Sometimes it’s not good to mix your friends with your relationship and if it doesn’t happen naturally then don’t force it or something you don’t like may occur.

My boyfriend has a best friend that I think is super cool, and I wish I knew him better. I think it's awesome that she is friends with your friend, it shows she really cares about you and your friendship! I totally understand why she's upset, I worry sometimes that my boyfriend's best friend doesn't like me that much, so I think asking him what's up is a good idea just for peace of mind. Hope this helps!

Okay I'm going in a different direction than the only other comment on this. My boyfriend and I share our friends. This means we both regularly talk to and hang out with each other's friends, male or female. We've pretty much become a giant family and neither of us would want it any other way.

To answer your question, yeah I would ask him if something is up and help him anyway you can.
