Failed Epidural

Before going into labor, I wasn't sure if I would be getting an epidural. After 6 hrs of scattered contractions & not dialating past 4cm, I decided I would get it. Once I got it, I didn't feel a thing, but the nurse checked me & I was at 7cm! It felt like 15min later but it was really like an hour & s half later I was ready to push. The second I started pushing, I felt EVERYTHING! 15min of pushing & my 8lb 3oz baby boy was born. The whole placenta situation was painful but I managed since I was holding my son.. then the doctor started stitching up my vagine 😖. I stated it hurt & the doctor said "No, you got the epidural, it doesn't hurt" 😒😒😒😒😒
