How will this induction go?!

Question

During induction, has anyone been given cervadil only? Without needing pitocin? I was wondering if the doctor would still need to give me pitocin if the cervadil made me progress fast after the 12 hours.

I never had cervadil but was induced all three times.  They broke my water every time.  I did have to have pitocin with my second and had him in 6 hours

I had cervidil that sent me from 1 cm to 3 cm. Then i had my water broken at 3 cm. Then around 4/5 cm i had an epidural and pitocin to get things moving faster.

I usually see pitocin used after cervidil.  Most likely cervidil won't be the only drug needed to induce labor.
