sleeping with tampons in 😅

I'm currently getting off my period and last night I had a tampon in. I fell asleep on the couch and didn't wake up until the next morning. When I woke up I realized I left my tampin in. I've never done this before. Does leaving tampons in for that long effect anything down there?
