Did you tell your parent/s when you'd started having sex?

Question

If you did tell them, was it one or both parents? And did you tell them before or afterwards?
 
I'm an adult with my own family now, but I had sex at 16 in a loving, exclusive 18-month-long relationship. We were safe and it was the right choice for me.
 
I hid it from my mother because she was never going to be ok with me being sexual at any age. She wasn't religious, but very controlling and had some mental health issues. She'd fly into rages at me.
 
It did mean I couldn't go on BC though, because only the pill was the option then. No shot or implant available.

My parents found out I was having sex when I came home pregnant at 17. It made my father cry, he was the first grand baby and he's definitely a grandpas boy

My mom past away and my dad lives in another city. My aunt she Jehova witness and she was upset but hell she got upset about my tattoo also so you can never make her happy. My uncle was ok about it and my other aunt said I should get a vibrator. Lol 😝

No. I didn't feel the need to. I was a responsible adult choosing to have sex, my parents would have probably assumed that by then I was.

I never actually told my mom I was having sex just that I was ready for Birth Control. She didn't really want to know if or when I had sex she just wanted to make sure I was safe about it. She did tell my dad that I asked for birth control but he never said anything to me about it.

Yes because i needed a ride to get on bc and std testing. My mom was disappointed in me and and my dad called me a whore. My mom said no one would really love me cause ill be presumed as easy

I had sex with my boyfriend at the time when I was 16. It turned out he was also banging  my best friend and got her pregnant. When I told my mom about that part, she asked me if I was having sex with him too. I told her yes, and that was about it. She did make me get tested at my next gyno appt.

I had to tell my mum... I was 15 and wasn't safe 🙈 I then stayed out all night and got caught out and grounded. So I had to tell my mum to take me to get the morning after pill as i couldn't go out myself 🙈 I was such a little shit of a teenager!!

I had sex the summer after I graduated high school.. Told my mom two days after. She was shocked but what could she do.. I was going on 19 yrs old lol. Never told my dad. Me and him have never talked about anything related to boys. Ever. Im 24 now and who knows what he thinks I've done lbs..
