MY BIRTH STORY-- 03-10-17 A LITTLE LONG!! sorry :)
So I was induced march 10th bec my baby was too big already and then I wasn't gonna be able to have him vaginally.. I was 40 weeks exactly that day.. so I went in at 6:30 am 😀 and they started me on uv or iv idk how is called, so after that they induced a cytotec in my vagina.. so contractions started and went from 0cm to 1-1/2 after about 1 hour I stood in bed for about two hours and then was sent to walk.. so I walked for about 40 min and contractions got a little stronger, I went back to my room and then they induced another one.. and went from 1-1/2 to almost 5 in about half hour, again contraction started a little stronger and was having them every 5 min.. so since I was contracting very good every 5 minutes.. and the pain was stronger I decided that I wasn't gonna get the epidural bec I felt like I could handle the pain lol (silly me) since I had my first son w/o medication..(he was born naturally) no induction needed.. so I asked the nurse if they were gonna put me on pitocin and she said yes! The doctor ordered it already I haven't used it yet bec your doing very well with the contractions, she said ,by that time I was having them every 2 min! And my husband was there with me all the time and I thought, well I wasn't gonna get the epidural bec I thought I wasn't gonna get pitocin and that I could handle the pain.. but since the contractions are so strong already and they haven't even started me on pitocin.. i said to my husband you know what? I'm going to take the epidural bec they are going to start pitocin and if it's already hurting this bad I can't imagine the pain with pitocin..so he said, is whatever you want baby it's up to you.. so I called the nurse and told her I wanted the epidural, contractions were every min now and stronger.. so the anesthetist came in and said don't move even when you get the contraction.. DONT MOVE!! I was so nervous and in sooo much pain that I just wanted her to be over.. so she started and idk how I did it.. but oh god!! The best decision I've ever made lol!! The pain stopped and all I could feel was a lot of pressure down there so after that the nurse immediately started pitocin.. and after about 5 min my water broke!! I felt the urge to push so I called the nurse and told her, she called the doctor , she checked me and I was already 10cm!! I went from 6 to 10 in 5 min!! So they got everything ready and after about 4 sets of 3 pushes every 10 seconds.. there he was!! My baby boy was already out!! Crying!! ALL I COULD SAY IS.. INDUCED LABOR HURTS MORE THAN NATURAL LABOR.. My jadiel was born at 7:54pm weighed 8 pounds even! And measured 21 inches and a half!! He was big!!!
MY HUSBAND WAS THE BEST PARTNER EVER!! He was there for me at all times!! He didn't even eat until I could!! He made me laugh when I was in pain, he had something to say that would make me laugh every time.. I am so blessed with my little one and having him in my life..thank god! Thanks :)
