prenatal vitamins??

Is it bad to take prenatal vitamins if you're not pregnant?? Or TTC?

My OB said any woman of childbearing age should ALWAYS take prenatals.  There's nothing harmful and they're good vitamins to take!

If you're TTC, I would take them. If not, it can be too much on your system; a regular daily vitamin would be better.

I have taken prenatals since I was pregnant with my son 16 years ago.  Good god that makes me sound old.  I have been taking prenatals for half my darn life.

I took them while TTC and am taking them now postpartum. Better some vitamins are better than none yanno?

They recommend women to take folic acid, not trying, before pregnancy, during pregnancy, breastfeeding and post delivery
