Does cleanser alone remove makeup and sunscreen?

Do I have to remove my face makeup/foundation before I use my cleanser to wash my face?  Is this makeup removing/pre-cleanse step really necessary or can I just trust my cleanser is doing its job and taking everything off?

Yes! Makeup and pollution and dirt and oils can be very hard to get off! The best thing to remove all of that is Garnier Micellar Water. It's AMAZING, doesn't take a lot of scrubbing, and then after using that washing your face will remove not only what's left behind, but will clean your pores out better! My dermatologist recommended this to me!

Depends on the cleanser. I use to wear makeup everyday and just use a wash (plus eye makeup remover) and no face make up remover. I found it wasn't fully cleaning and when I started to use a makeup remover all over my skin got healthier and nicer looking.
