Counting on fingers.

I didn't know if this belongs here, but is there anyone in college, or has completed college and they still used their fingers to count during moments where math was required? I'm not in college yet, but not that far from it, and I've just always used my fingers to count during math. 😭 I'm wondering if this means I'm a little stupid, or if this doesn't mean anything, and I'll be ok. My bf thinks I should know everything off the top of my head, but for some reason I still use the finger counting, which makes me feel like maybe I'm just a little slower at it, or something is wrong with me... 😔 Opinions please.
