If my child is a newborn (At an age where they aren't mobile) then yes, I'll use my teeth. If they are mobile, I have my SO use the nail clippers.

It's gross because of the germs in your mouth. I've seen adults get infections from biting their fingernails too short and they are very painful.

I bite my LO nails because I used to use the clippers and I accidentally nicked her. She statted crying and I started crying. I just don't want to hurt my baby girl so I feel this is safer

I've had to before bc the damn clippers kept cutting his nails too short. Man that nail cutting on the newborns can be stressful. I bought like 3 different ones too 😂

Well biting nails anyways is disgusting. You don't know what type of germs are under your nails or theirs.

It's gross because of how gross your child's hands are.. they put their hands on everything, they suck their fingers.. why not just grab nail clippers?

I don't think it's gross, but it's not something I would do. I just use baby nail clippers on my son and fortunately, I've never accidentally clipped his skin.
