Baby shower thoughts
My mom and mother in law are "planning" my shower. First it was my MIL but I asked my mom to help so that I knew it would be more my style. Well my mom came up with some colors and a "theme" sort of and has taken care of favors. It's sort of a light teal and bright pink and there's a baby aquatic creatures trend. She's having favors made (cookies) in cute fishy shapes. She lives in another state and will be arriving with my grandmother and sister the day before the shower.
My mother in law is planning on handling food (sandwiches, fruit and cheese etc). We had a hiccup with location so I figured that out and got it reserved (public park, reserved pavilion pic below).
I need to send out the invites like NOW and don't have a lot of time. I went looking for premade ones a couple places and ended up with these (pic below) because they were simple and cheap. I want to add registry and diaper raffle info. Do you think printed out labels on the back would be ok?
I told my mom as far as activities go I want to do a decorate-a-onesie station as well as a diaper notes station and for games the belly measuring with string thing, blindfolded diaper changes, and "don't say baby." Trying to keep things fun and low-key.
I'm inviting about 25-30 people with at least 9 already confirmed. It will be around 4 on a Saturday. Is this too much stuff?
Sorry for the long post. Just looking for thoughts.
