Sexual Violence in Entertainment

Usually I don't care about violence in movies and TV but I watched this movie today that was completely over the top 'The Snowtown Murders' or something and it was totally like watching torture porn, it was sodomy and child molesting I left the room I couldn't even watch. Now I feel depressed and scared kinda I guess I'm disturbed by it, I can't watch prison films at all or anything that looks like it will have sexual violence, I don't understand why this type of thing doesn't effect people the way it effects me and why people watch these sort of movies I've even heard people laughing and making fun of rape scenes in movies which is even more disturbing than the film itself. I'm wondering if :

A I'm the only person deeply disturbed by this type of 'entertainment'

B if anyone else thinks this type of thing shouldn't be in films because it's not entertaining and is just plain disgusting
