Switching pills, please read description?

Okay, so I was on the birth control Aubra for a year and a half until I switched doctors. My new prescription is Aviane which is supposed to be the same dose of hormones. The transition has been a hormonal mess. But I'm very sure if I just stick through it a few more months I'll be adjusted like my old pill (that one was freaking perfect after 3months). But when I was using Aubra I had eventually started skipping the placebo pills so I had my period every 3rd month. I was initially doing that with these as well. I took two months of pills then had my period. I'm at the end of the third pack now but already started bleeding and definitely feel hormonal. The bleeding is heavy like a period, not light like breakthrough bleeding, and started the last active pill day of my pack. I took the next packs first active pill today but I'm wondering if I should stop and take my placebo pills now and just do a one month cycle until I'm adjusted to the new pill before I try for a 2month cycle again, or if I should just try the 2month cycle again now?? Thank you for any input or advice :)
