hashimoto's and ttc need advice

My husband and I are trying for baby #1. We found I have Hoshimotos (where the body attacks the thyroid) it caused me not to have a cycle for about 7-8 months. The doctor had me do 4 chemical induced dnc to try and start my system, finally my body has started to cycle on its own. We are terrified we won't be able to have children. Any suggestions for what we should do to up our chances?
