Tdap vaccine

At my last OB visit, she told me that after week 27 (currently 22 weeks) I would be getting the tdap shot. She explained to me why and everything. But i had my doubts, because it just didn't make sense to me that pregnant ladies would have to get vaccinated. (This is my first pregnancy.) I started doing some research online about any risks the vaccine could cause my baby, and I did not like what I read. I instantly regretted looking it up. 😅😅

But my question is, would I be able to reject the vaccine and not have to get it until after pregnancy? I KNOW whooping cough is a big thing that could be fatal for baby, but it's like, this is a hard decision. So i just want to know that if I chose to say no, that a doctor would respect my no.
