How far is too far?

Question

How far is too far to travel at 35 weeks pregnant? Tomorrow a friend and I are planning on driving to Lubbock Texas which is about 2 hrs away from my hometown. We plan to spend the day shopping and walking around the mall and other stores. I'm sure I'm fine but my mother called me and stressed me out about leaving my house this far along lol

That's fine. Even if you went into labor, it's going to last longer than the car ride home!! ☺

I'm 35 weeks and just got back yesterday from a 5 hr drive

I would say at 35 weeks you should be fine its unlikely that you would go into labour that early out of the blue.. obviously some people do but its not common... i would travel at 35 weeks without worrying if it was me.

I would call the doctor in the morning and see what they say. One thing for sure is don't overdo yourself.
