won't stop bleeding on bc!

So I'm on the patch, during my last cycle I kept the patch on during week 4 thinking I could skip a period. Later that week I started bleeding. I'm now on patch 2 on my next cycle (almost reaching patch 3) and I'm still bleeding. I'm really worried about this. should I be worried? Or is it the consequences of leaving the patch on?
