When to buy baby stuff

When did you ladies start buying baby stuff? I want to know what I'm having already but I'm just 9 weeks

I'm 20 weeks and haven't started buying anything yet. I was fortunate to get aome baby clothes and toys from my sister-in-law but other than that I have only bought one pair of cute socks! Haha. My plan is to start on the nursery in the next week or two so once I have permanent places to store everything I will start buying what I actually need. X

I am stocking up on diapers and buying things like baby powders and neutral color burping cloths and just going to start stocking on stuff around the house like soaps and toothpaste and toilet paper and paper towels so when the baby comes I don't have to worry about just going to the store for everyday stuff around the house.
