Why didn't I get pregnant?

Question

To begin with, I recently took Accutane and stopped treatment about 4 months ago. I've also taken birth control and I had an IUD, but got it removed last month in hopes of becoming pregnant. My boyfriend and I had intercourse 3 times, once the day after my period and the last time on my most fertile day (according to Glow). He came inside of me six times, with 3 of those times being on my most fertile day. It was also in doggy style one of those times since I read that would help the sperm go to the cervix. I waited, felt a whole bunch of symptoms, including nausea, and then got my period. I don't understand what went wrong. I'm still very young.

What position you have sex in has no impact on concieving. 
You've only tried this once and you JUST got off birth control, it's going to take a little bit for your body to readjust after being on bc. 
Plus, Glow might not even be accurate about when you ovulate, it's just an estimate. It depends on what your cycle is like. 
It's normal for a healthy couple to take up to a year to concieve.

My partner and I both have absolutely nothing wrong with us. I've never taken birth control and have regular periods. It took us 1 single intercourse to conceive our first. It took 17 months to conceive our 2nd. Sometimes it just doesn't happen. Try again! 😀

You haven't been off birth control very long and glow is an estimate of your fertile days not an exact. Plus it can just take awhile - you can do everything right and still not get pregnant one week. Doctors don't even get concerned until you've been trying for 1 year.

First of all the calendar is an estimate, it doesn't actually know when you're actually ovulating. I ovulate 5 days after the calendar prediction, I used an ovulation kit. One day of sex is often not enough. You're better off having sex every day or every other day the whole week or 10 days you're fertile than having sex multiple times on just one day.

It can take longer than just one month of trying. I had been trying for five years before finally getting pregnant. If you try for one year consistently without getting pregnant then I would consider seeing your Gyno about it. Don't stress yourself over not getting pregnant right away.

Birth control can take a while to filter out your system. Ask your doctor out that one cause I know with the shot it can stay in your system for a year so you won't get pregnant for a whole. I was off birth control (pill) for 7 months and it still took 3 months to conceive which is pretty good! And you need to do it more then three times in a month

You've just tried conceiving for a month. Are you eating healthy? Drinking plenty of water? Taking a prenatal? Abstaining from tobacco, vape, drugs and alcohol? Those all have an effect on fertility. Women do not ovulate every single month also. Just have sex every day or every other day while taking proper care of your body and it'll happen.

Accutane doesn't affect fertility. It's out of your system in 30 days. That's why they draw your blood a month after you stop taking it. Sometimes it just takes a minute to get pregnant even if you're very sexually activd.

Also since you were on bc how would you even input your cycle into glow to know? The period you get on bc is not a true period.
