It depends. Some satire comedians, like Trevor Noah, while I LOVE him, really only enforce my already existing views. Others like John Oliver do get me to think somewhat critically of things.

To be 100% honest, I have a really difficult time detecting sarcasm and satire. I can never tell and then I end up looking like an idiot lol. It does make me think though I guess, but not in the way it should.
