Not knowing you're in labor?

Question

I'm currently 38 weeks, and I'm a first time mom. Well I'm extremely terrified that I won't Know when I'm in labor.. has anyone been in labor and didn't know? I live about 30 minutes from my closest hospital and just wanna make sure I know I'll have time to get there

It isnt like the movies where it goes from contracrion to birth in 5 min. Well not for most people. You'll know. Or at least suspect. I promise

I had no idea but looking back I knew something was off, I felt like I had my period cramps then hours later I couldn't stop going to the bathroom after that the contractions were almost 1:30 seconds apart and we were 45 min from the hospital... I didn't know but when it's really time to go you'll know before then you might just feel funny, no big you'll have enough time once you realize your in labor

Not trying to scare u but I cannot feel my contractions until baby is about an hour from being born. I barely made it to hospital with my first child, my second I was Induced but was having regular contractions but did not know prior to the pitocin, my third same contractions regular and peaking on monitor did not feel them. I'm worried how quick this one will come as she is my 4th.
