If you haven't been following along with his "story" or even heard about it. He still hasn't been signed to a NFL Team since his peaceful prostest by kneeling during the National Anthem.  Some are feeling it's because he "disrespected our vets" and "great that the owners don't wanted to be associated with him"

What are your thoughts.

He's being blackballed for peacefully and appropriately exercising his rights and speaking out against issues in our country. But the NFL doesn't have a good moral compass to begin with. So no one should be surprised. Also, he didn't disrespect anyone. Anyone who believes he did missed the point that if they believe that the soldiers fought for our rights, it makes no sense to be upset about his protest as he's just exercising his right and using his platform

Let's face it, Niners would have been shit with Brady as the QB. They had a VERY bad team last season. Kaep isn't the best QB but he's certainly better than Manziel, who is second string at best and reportedly gearing up for a "comeback" to the NFL.

There's consequences for your actions. The NFL has been behind a lot of fucked up shit over the years. From domestic violence to dog fighting and everything in between. I feel as if maybe the NFL is getting sick of the bullshit (hopefully) and want to bring back the attention to the love of the game. Football has gotten so lost in politics it's ridiculous. Kids look up to these people, the NFL should be holding them to a very high standard. Sure he's exercising his rights, using his platform, and being peaceful about it, however look at the shit storm it causes with the mere mention of it? Sports aren't about sports anymore, it's who's fucking who, who committed this crime, race this race that, platform this platform that.. there's plenty of other platforms as an NFL player u can use besides bringing the drama onto the field.

It's like this, when students are getting picked for a sports scholarship the scout takes into consideration attitude, sportsmanship, conduct in the classroom, stats etc. if u have 2 students with the same qualifications but 1 student tends to cause problems with other teammates I can garuntee u that student isn't going to be picked for that scholarship. It's the same concept with him. No one wants to deal with the backlash of it, plus he's not getting signed because he sucks 😂😂🤔

Can we just keep this to his ability as a QB? Colin has and still is fundraising for multiple organizations to save children, speak about racism and inequality, and pay for treatments involved with heart diseases etc. I don't care if you don't like his ability as a player, but as a person he's done and is doing far more good than our current president and his cabinet.

He's successfully urged Turkish airlines to assist Somalia, continues to support Camp Taylor, a non profit for raising money for children with heart diseases because his adopted family lost a son, he donated of his own money 100,000 dollars to various state's charity organizations which hestudiously picked which were grass roots organizations and transparent about where the money goes, as well as 60,000 towards youth programs in Harlem and the South Bronx. The niners owner Jed York has promised to match Colin with 1 million donated from the 49's foundation.
 And Colin has donated 50k to meals on wheels, and has currently raised about one million for camp Taylor, which he has supported with his family for nearly five years.

So how about not bashing the man, and just criticizing his ability as a player, which even then he's not an awful qb.

It's ridiculous he isn't being drafted, but teammates and family have said that Colin's heart is with his charity work right now.

So sad how someone who does so much charity work and tries to better our country is treated because they won't stand for a pledge to protest the killings of children and is seen as less favorable than rapists and abusers. And many military members and vets didn't even feel disrespected. It was mostly people who didn't even serve. Many vets said the whole point of their job is to give us the choice and right and free speech to sit and protest for what we believe.
