Ok y'all, I'm trying not to react to what a certain person is doing publicly to me, taking shots online. I've reacted before and I'm trying to hold my composure this time. Do you agree or disagree with this quote? Why?

A reaction is what they are trying to get from you. Reacting will only feed into whatever bullshit they are trying to pull. And anyone who believes their bs is not a real friend nor person you need in your life. As soon as I realized how much energy I was wasting on people and their stupid bullshit and I let shit go and blocked all the negative from my life, my life completely changed for the better and I'm much happier for it. Sounds corny but it's really true. We attract the energy we give off. People are always gonna hate. We can't change what they do, say and feel but we can change how we react to what they say and feel. Take the high road. People will eventually see through their bull.

Just sit back and watch it fall apart on the person. Those who matter to you will not believe the shit being said anyways. Obviously he wants a reaction, don't give him that power over you.  I had an ex do shit like this, he went around telling everybody he stopped talking to me because I was such a bitch. When his brother told me this, I laughed and told him that was funny because he was bothering me up until the day I changed my number.

The quote doesn't say always lol it says SOME times and some situations. I agree with it. You have to look at the individual situation though. If it's something someone is doing to hurt you or bother you I feel you should definitely stick up for yourself! But if it's just someone doing stupid childish things, let them look stupid.
