divorce ?

So.. I have been married for 10 years and in the 10 years my husband has called me a variety of names from slut, bitch, whore.. we get along more like on a companionship level and as friends. Because of all the name calling and when I attempt to go out with the girls for a drink or home late (10pm) he trips out and calls me more then 20x and texts with colorful words... I get a sorry the next day and he thinks it's all ok. But if I don't go out at all we are kosher. I've always thought bout leaving him and divorce. But the problem is the mouth on him and how he react when I tell him. I am attempting to leave in may, so do I say something now, or wait? He is going to trip and have a shit fit. Btw, we have two girls together , 8&9. I want to set a good example for them but yet it's their dad. What do I do?!?!? Help!
