Making "mummy friends"
Have any of you made and mummy friends (excluding internet ones like on this app)?
I met a lady only 2 days ahead of me in a pub whilst having lunch one day. We really got chatting and both work in the same small town (30 minutes drive from my home, 1 hour from hers in the opposite direction). We've kept in touch via text and met up for lunch once - she brought her lovely 9 month old first baby with her and it was lovely. I just wish she lived closer!
I've just finished my nhs antenatal classes but there was only one other couple there. I gave her my contact details and said I'd love to keep in touch. She didn't give me hers back but I hope she does get in touch but I'm prepared that she may not want to.
I've just got my NCT classes left. I think it's really important to make friends :-)
