Instagram promotions real or not

What's real and Whats not? I'm trying to grow out my balding edges. It's patchy so I can cover it with top hairs. I seen this picture on Instagram but I've seen so many that I don't know what to believe anymore. Everything to me can rigged comments and fake testimonies. Who has used this product or any advice as to what to buy? I already use castor oil and cinnamon when I massage my scalp. It's not alopecia. So I don't know what else to use! Thnx
