What fruits are safe for a 5 month old? I know strawberries are not, but what ones can she have

Honestly, I would hold off. There isn't any significant reason to start solids so soon. It doesn't offer any great nutrition and can upset their stomachs. You can wait all the way up to a year without solids. I would push it off till after 6 months.

I started buying the 1st stage baby food at 4 months. My son's pediatrician said to start solids then. I don't know why everyone waits until 6 months now. My son was beyond ready for solids. He wasn't staying full on just his milk. 
He loved bananas and apples. He's almost 9 months old and eats regular table food now for solids, I just cut it up real small. 
You make the decision for your child. If the pediatrician says to start at 4 months and you think your baby is ready, then do it. The only thing I didn't give my son was prunes 😂

Solids start anywhere between 4-6 months. I would start off maybe on rice cereal first then introduce the other stuff. That is your child and your choice. Also talk to your pediatrician and see what they may suggest.

Bananas, apples, peaches & pears are usually good first choices. I steam the apples, peaches &/or pears (take the skin off, core/pit & chop into chunks first) for about 20 min or until very soft & then puree & freeze in ice cube trays for later...banana i just mush when i feed it. At 5 months my doctor said any fruit but citrus was ok.

Each to their own on opinions. Im weaning my 14 wk old son due to medical issues and hes having all fruits ive not with held any just make sure there pureed with no skin, bits, pulps, pips etc. I weaned my 12 yr old girl at 8 wks age shes totally fine now.

A lot of people have different opinions, but I have started all three of my daughters on solids at 5 months and they have turned out fine. I alway introduce veggies first  and after fruit.

Puréed? It just depends on your child. I would start them off slowly on one thing at a time for a period of time to make sure they don't have an allergic reaction to that particular food.
