I can't make my new husband "finish"

I recently got married on Tuesday and we were both virgins. Everyone always told me that the first time will only last about 5 minutes, but it lasted at least and hour and a half, and I still couldn't make him "finish." He had to finish himself after wards. The second and third time he didn't finish at all, but this morning he did, but it was afterwards again. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. He said he gets there, and then it goes away before he does. I've tried oral, and manual (I'm new to everything so I'm not really skilled at it). Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a way to help him "finish"? It hurts my selfesteem every time..
