Husband for the WIN!
We just went on vacation with my in-laws, and were out to get ice cream one day with them. I am close to my MIL, so we've discussed that we will be waiting till Zoe is 6 months to eat real food, and even then it will be healthy foods only for awhile. While walking around my MIL asks my husband, "can Zoe have a lick of my ice cream"? She said it soooo excited, and was halfway to her mouth when my husband said, "absolutely not...she can't have food yet...you know this", and just kept walking....my hubby and I are on the same page, but not having to be the one to say something (or make him sAy something) was a freaking win for this mom!! It's always the wife that has to jump in and upset to MIL, and I didn't even have to acknowledge it!!!! My MIL was seriously shocked, and it made us both laugh inside....#winning!
Anyone else have trouble with keeping other people away from trying to feed your baby?!? It's hard sometimes, especially when you know they have good intentions...
