I feel like most people don't know about their religion's origins and why they really do as they do. Critical thinking seems to be lost when it comes to most organized religions in MY opinion.

There really isn't anything to think about it, it's not an opinion, it's history. The Christians were notorious for taking things from pagan religions in order to make assimilating the locals and spreading Christianity easier. All Christian holidays have pagan roots.

Well now it's a money-wasting commercialized holiday with little to no special meaning on a societal level and I don't care about it at all besides when the chocolate bunnies get put on the shelves. So? No opinion?

I think Easter is more commercial now than religious. In church we were taught that there's no way to put an exact time line on the whole resurrection, but it does fall close to "Easter festivities" typically "die hard" Christians don't celebrate man made holidays with gifts and commercial type celebrations. Rather they choose prayer and fasting, church or giving. Sure it's more widely celebrated now that everything is so industrialized.

Valentine's Day - massacre some how changed to day of love ? 
Easter- celebrating someone coming to life after being murdered 😳 or celebrating sex😂
Christmas- supposedly a birthday but everyone else gets gifts not the "birthday boy"🤔🤔

Really the only things that are traditional holidays are Cultural celebrations, times where people fast and are truest "selfless" not just giving gifts and being good because some fat guys breaking into your house watching your children sleep like a pedo and leaving random gifts 😂😂🤷🏻‍♀️

I guess it's all for the kids and corporations fuck everyone else lol
