Trying after miscarriage

I had a miscarriage last week and my drs nurse suggested that I wait until after my first period to come before starting to try again. But I've been reading all over the internet it is okay to start trying immediately. We obviously want to start trying asap

I read online-"After a miscarriage, the body heals very quickly. “A woman will generally ovulate two to four weeks after a miscarriage, with a normal menstrual period occurring two weeks after ovulation,” says Dr. Lerner. “She can then start trying to get pregnant right away, if she wants to, with no increased risk of miscarriage.”
