hiccups and labor

I've read on multiple sites that Supposedly, if baby has hiccups labor isn't near. Baby is "supposed" to stop practicing breathing and won't have hiccups about 24-48 hours before labor. Was this true for anyone?

Ever since reading that, every time my little one has hiccups I get a little sad lol. It's like "well it's not happening today then if that's true"😜😭
