So I had some businesses to take care of and a family member offered to babysit my  1 year old daughter. As I was leaving I told her, in case my daughter gets bored or she needs her to sit still, she (family member) should put on telletubbies for her as that's her favorite. Then she looks at me like I'm crazy and don't know what I'm talking about and she went ahead to say how do I know what a 1 year olds favorite is and that she's still a baby and can't even talk to even tell me what her favorite is. And I'm like she's my baby and I know what she wants. Then she says I'm only exaggerating and that babies her age watch anything cos she's a mother of three and she knows and I'm just a first time mom. I got mad and asked her to not babysit no more I would take care of my business with my baby. I don't want her doing things that pleases her than that of what pleases my baby. After all she offered to babysit. Do u guys think I over reacted and yes I know what my daughter's favorite is cos I can tell from how she acts when I put it on. She doesn't need to talk for me to know what she wants. Do other parents have kids her age that have favorites so I know I'm not exaggerating.
