April 11th- 8 DPO or something like that 🙄

Sa
It's a beautiful day today in Maine and I can't even enjoy it because I'm a childish grump who just wants to eat peanut butter and hide under the covers all day.
Looking around at our other threads, it looks like most of you can relate.
I have no motivation today. I don't have enough energy to care about this TWW anymore. I just want it to be the 19th already so I can test and be done. But alas, I will muster up enough energy to write a tiny bit about what might be going on inside of us today:
To recap, by 7 or 8 DPO little Blastocyst may either already have started the implantation process or could still be floating freely in the uterine cavity. He's several hundred cells big by now and the cells are starting to clump into one corner and form what's called the "inner cell mass" (the very primitive beginnings of a fetus), on the outside of the mass is a bunch of "trophoblast" cells which facilitate implantation and also aid in the secretion of hCG. Here's some more information and few fun graphics to help you get a good idea of what may be going on inside if you did conceive this month.
Good luck, friends. I hope you have a better attitude and more motivation than I do today. 🌷
