Twins?

Hey ladies
I have a question I just found out I'm pregnant with the our 2nd child. 
I had an ultrasound today and they said I'm so early they can see the sac but not the baby yet, I go back in two weeks for another. They suspect me to be about 3 weeks but my test are very strong positives. 
Now my husband is a twin, and the gene does not skip a generation. Could it be so strong because I could be having twins? Has it happened to yall?

Twins are only genetic on the mothers side.

High levels don't mean your having twins.

My test was super strong and I'm only having one baby .. also the twin gene runs in females not males so he wouldn't pass it on .b

HCG levels for singletons and multiples are relatively the same up until about 7 weeks pregnant. A strong test that early is not an indication of multiples. Not saying it's not possible, but it's not more likely because of a dark line.
