Hard Baby Poops

My baby is now just over 6 months and she have been eating solids for around 3 weeks now but her poops are getting more and more solid. She wakes up early in the morning now with a bad tummy and pushing but she does go back off to sleep after pooping and changing her nappy.

I feel so bad for her and there's a poop in nearly every nappy but it's a really firm ball.

Anyone got any suggestions for me on how to make them softer so it's not as painful to pass?
