Bring a friend to appt?

My first ultrasound is in a few weeks.  My husband can't come. Do you think it's important that I not go alone? This is my first pregnancy. I am not sure if I'll need a friend there for support.

Yeah bring a close friend! My mom lives outta town and is talking about coming for my first appointment! lol I mean my first appointment is her birthday (May 10th) lol but my hubby will definitely tag along! He took the whole day off!

With my first my husband only was able to attend the inital ultrasound, and not a single appointment after that. I think it's perfectly fine to bring a friend for support!
