How about a bottle? Incase the hospital doesnt give you any bottles. I remember when I left the hospital with my son we were so happy. We got home and had a mental breakdown because I didnt have formula and hadnt prepared any bottles lol

I think you're good. The hospital will likely provide any toiletries baby may need (Vaseline, washes, etc..)

Not sure if standard for every where but you won't need diapers. Hospital provides all of those for you. Same with the the snap up shirts. Honestly that's all your baby will be in during their visit.  Depending if you are breast-feeding or not you probably won't need bottles. I would pack two different sized outfits depending on the size the baby for going home

We didn't put any of our clothes on him until we left. The hospital provided everything including shirts with mitten covers.
