My almost 6 month old catches whatever my older son brings home from preschool. This time it seems like a nasty cold. Runny nose and cough. There hasn't been a fever at all. We've been suctioning his nose, zarbeez vapor rub (safe for infants 3 months +). He's genuinely happy and in good spirits, but it does effect his sleep. Wakes himself up coughing or nose gets too plugged and we have to start the night time routine again. I do notice a very slight wheeze when he breathes, but that's it. I feel like if I go to the dr they're just tell me what I already know - "it's a cold" - and will just have to let it run its course. What are things that you did to help kick a cold for your little one? Or help make them more comfortable and sleep better/longer?
