traigus piercing?

Anyone who has a traigus piercing what was the pain level and healing like and does wearing headphones bother it?

Dude that shit hurts. Once it's healed you can use earphones without pain. But mine took 8 freakin months to stop feeling pain howver my ears are a pain in the ass

This was mine 5 minutes after I got it pierced. Mine was perirced with a horse shoe and it didn't hurt at all! Was completely healed in 2-3 months and with no complications!

Honestly it didn't hurt me at all. Just putting the ring in was the most pain and it still didn't hurt me at all. Just a little uncomfortable at first. I would recommend getting a stud first because hoops can move and mess up the healing process. I've never really worn headphone before. So it's not really a problem. Just feels a little weird for me wearing them. And I have my daith pierced on my other ear also so I just never wear earphones anymore

a stud is usually recommended over a hoop for a healing piercings because there is less movement, less chance of things cat hing on it, and less pressure; think about the shape, a circle will always have two points of pressure whereas a straight bar adds no pressure and very little movement

It really depends on the person. My friend and I got ours together and hers bleed for a good bit and she said that it hurt worse than her nose ring but I thought mine was so fast that the pain was minimal and it healed very quickly. Overall it's worth it though whether it hurts or not!

This is mine. Just got it pierced on Friday (2days ago) & oh man, the pain for me was pretty bad.. basically just an intense pressure but ideally it's based off of your pain tolerance to things.. I generally compare my pain tolerance for each new piercing to my nose(the 3rd time I got it pierced-because that hurt like a bitch) ANYWAYS so yea in my experience I believe this one hurt worse than my 3rd time for nose.. but like I said it was just an intense pressure (although my piercer was pulling on the piercing to make sure she could clean it up & get the hoop fully on the ball part so that it was tightened completely & because mine bled a lot..) but my piercer definitely recommends getting it done with a hoop because it helps the healing a lot better. I wanted to get a stud with a flat back but she said it is very difficult to clean because of the buildup and all so a hoop was definitely the best option for me. At the moment for me it's kinda difficult to clean since I'm worried about what way to move the piercing when cleaning it since I generally get pierced with a stud & not a hoop.. but overall I feel like it's not too bad. I mean what piercing won't be sore and such once you get it pierced/afterward. After the healing ofcourse the stud would be awesome! I'm not quite sure what the healing will be considering I forgot to ask my piercer about it but most piercins generally take 3-6 or 9-12 months or anywhere in between that time period. Depending on where and what kind of piercing. But yeah that's my input on it, I say hey, get it done.. don't worry about the pain too much and that it entails because it's a really awesome piercing!

Pain isnt bad at all. I suggest a hoop as my stud never healed. It kept trying to heal over the back of the stud. So definitely hoop. It will be a little annoying trying to get headphones in but its not bad. I could still use them just fine
