Modern day Unions, are they helpful or harmful?

It's a bit of both. The UFT can be a great asset and protection, but sometimes they don't do what is in the best interest of the members. Overall though, they do more foof than harm and support their members

My SO works in a union and he loves it. Someone always has his back no matter what and he never has to worry about being treated unfairly. Obviously he does have to pay the union fee but he definitely says it's worth it.
