when is it ok to start wearing a body shaper after birth ??

4 days post baby and I feel like I need to start wearing something to help suck my belly in.

When is it a good time to start wearing a body shaper ?

Any suggestions ??

I'd wait atleast 6 weeks. Give your body a little time to heal. It took 9 months to grow a baby and for your body to change, it's going to take more than a few days to get back to "normal".

I wore my belly band at the hospital and for a few weeks after that, with that and breast feeding I was 5-6 lbs under my pre pregnancy weight between 2 and 4 months postpartum

You just had a baby. How you feel is up to you obviously but just try to appreciate what your body just went through, it was a tough job! You can start by eating a healthy diet with lots of vegetables and little refined carbs too, it will do wonders!

I started using mine the night I had my daughter. I highly recommend the one pictured! Yes it is a little pricey but it works wonders. It is comfy and the support is so good. I was back to my pre pregnancy weight in less then a month after giving birth.

I started wearing a postpartum support belly band about a week after my little guy was born. The support felt amazing, and I think it helped everything gonna be to feeling normal more quickly.

If you feel comfortable then yes. If you feel uncomfortable wait a bit then start on it.

An abdominal binder is different then a belly shaper..binders can be worn right after c section ..anything to tight can cut off circulation..idk abt vaginal births tho just bunders as this is my 3 c section
