How do you handle bullying in your home?

What do y'all do if your kid is a bully? What do y'all do if your kid is being bullied?

What would I do? Beat dat ass. That's what I'm going to do.

My son 2nd grade son was bullied by a fifth grade boy and girl earlier in the year. The school had no interest in fixing the situation and their solution was that my son avoid 2 kids who constantly followed him around or he could sit in the office during recess if he couldn't manage it on his own. One day I got a call from the school that my son was being punished for beating up the boy 5th grader because he shoved him and hurt his back. I absolutely refused to allow the school to punish my son for defending himself against a physical attack that could have prevented had they taken action sooner against the appropriate party.

Anyway, I let my son know that I was proud of him for standing up for himself but I didn't want him to make it a habit of laying his hands on other people. I didn't tell him that it was ever necessary but I told him that we have to try everything else before we resort to violence.

How old is the child in question? The response to this is entirely dependent ob their developmental level.

If my child was the bully I would basically take every single thing they enjoy doing from them and have them doing chores they don't like. Also talk to them about respecting others. If my child was the one being bullied I would contact the other parents and file a police report bc I know school don't do much  ! Things get out of hand now a days ! I don't want my kid to ever have a suicidal thought because of some stupid kid joking or bullying them and I take this very personal and serious !
