How long after a birth control like IUD did you get pregnant?

This is our 13th month trying after copper IUD was removed Jan 2014. Conceived both my first boys within 3 months, had IUD in for 2 yrs. now the factory just does not seem to want to work anymore 😔 If I knew this was going to happen I would have NEVER gotten the damn thing! I didn't research properly before getting it, I wish I had as now, with this difficulty in falling pregnant, I have read up on IUDs and found only doom and gloom on the thing. I will NEVER put one in again

I had my iud for 5 years and it's been 1 year trying and nothing.  I'll never consider on having it again.

I had mirena for 2 years. It took three attempts to have it removed as the strings were lost. Once I had it out I bled for a couple days. Then got pregnant the first time I ovulated after removal and never even had a regular period in between. I'm 20 weeks now.

It all depends on ur body. I got pregnant right after I took it out and I have a healthy seven yr old

I haven't conceived yet since getting mirena out on 02/18/15 and everyone I've talked to before said they had a couple of miscarriages before they gave birth.

I tracked my cycles and took my Iud out the month after I got married and didn't have another period. I got pregnant with my first then and am now pregnant with my third.

Took my Mirena out in late August 2013, got pregnant first time I ovulated. Unfortunately we lost an angel at 7.5 wks :-(  
Got pregnant in July 2014 and again lost an angel at 9.5 wks (this time she was a turner syndrome loss). 
Been trying again for 5 months. About to call it and get another Mirena :-(

I had my Mirena removed in August 2013. We were casually "not preventing" for a year and didn't get pregnant. We then started charting/ cycle tracking, doing BBT, and ovulation tests in August 2014. I got BFP on January 30th. I'm 9 weeks now.
