Castor Oil ?

Has anyone tried the Castor Oil I would like to try it but I also would like some reviews.

Everyone I know that has tried it just got really really bad diarrhea. My doctor said it wasn't safe at all because it can cause baby to have a bowl movement inside of you which is extremely dangerous. I was also told that the only way it could work to put you in labor is the bad diarrhea causing contractions. So if it did actually work you would ha w diarrhea during labor..

I've always heard it doesn't work to induce labor and that labor starts when baby produces a hormone signaling to your body that they are ready to arrive.

I've heard it makes you feel absolutely awful and gives you terrible diarrhea-which is what can put you into labor. However if your body isn't ready for labor then it won't work. It can make you dehydrated and cause the baby to have a bowel movement before delivered which can be very dangerous. IMO it's worth it to stick it out and wait until your overdue and then talk to your doctor about things to try. After the baby is here you forget about how miserable you were at the end of pregnancy. I was 10 days late with my first and I remember I was kind of an emotional wreck but none of it matters anymore bc I have a healthy little girl!

I've read it is actually pretty dangerous and can cause a lot of problems and complications. I've never tried it, though, and I don't plan to. I don't feel like going into horrible labor AND shitting out my insides at the same time. I would definitely talk to your dr before using it.
