I'm trying to think of who I want in the room with me and honestly I'd rather be alone than pick any of the options I have. I really really want my sons father in there but we currently aren't on good terms and I know he'd be too freaked out to be in there (he has a lot of growing up to do). That would be the ideal situation for him to want to be in the room, but again, doubtful. My other options are my mom or dad but my mom and I fight 24/7 she is a very "everything has to be my way" kind of person and I don't want that stress around me during delivery. I would gladly have my dad in there but that would then hurt my moms feelings causing a huge problem. Having both of my parents in the room would be just a disaster because those two argue over the smallest things and then I somehow get thrown into it. I have a great family but just an argumentative mother. I almost just want to be alone or get a doula. Any advice? What was your experience alone or with a doula?
