Question

Does this look infected?
Badly or just alittle? Swollen?

Please...don't judge me.. or say anything negative..I really need help :/

I know I have to get these these pulled out because they have all broken due to just me not taking care of my teeth during a time of depression I went through in my past but yes, I need some other opinions.

These are broken 3 molars and yes I'm pregnant. Im alittle worried about our baby girl.

Two of them have root canals so they prob won't cause you much discomfort unless they get infected again. The very back one tho should be extracted before it gets infected. The infection will be worse for you and baby than the extraction and anesthetic. Honestly, is just go get all 3 out at once. They aren't salvageable at this point.

Also, there's different methods used for pregnancy as far as seditives go for the sedation part of the extractions (if you're going the sedation route). But if you don't, the abscess will pass on to your baby and babies will be more likely to develops decay.

When you're older if your other teeth look like this- lower dentures are HORRIBLE. So u want to keep your bottom teeth in the best shape as possible! Every time you take a burr (drill), to a tooth, it weakens it. If it hyper erupts and you don't do anything for years.. they'll have to take some off the bottom. You won't notice the shift but it happens!

Honestly.... the two with the rtc's on them have decay on between them. The last one looks like it could POSSIBLY be a core/crown build up... but the X-ray is only 2D so it would be hard for me say. They need to be addressed. You need to think about a long term plan and at least get 1/2 implants placed in the back and have a 4 unit bridge if the following teeth are salvageable. Implants are expensive. You will probably get the extractions, bone graft, implant placed and heal for a few months. If you extract them and don't do anything, you're bottom teeth opposing those teeth will hyper-erupt to try and fill in the missing space. Which will make it near impossible to have any prosthetic work done in the future without grinding down the opposing teeth.

I agree with Lindsey. All though it looks to me like the far back molar is already abscesses (infected) so it should come out now rather than waiting until after your baby is born.
