am i overreacting?

Question

So my so went out tonight for dinner and drinks i was working till late he said he wouldn't be too late and would probably be home around the same time as me after work i get a text to say hes not coming home hes staying at a friends and im pissed off i dont get it? Why wouldn't he just come home he has work tomorrow so hes not going to be drinking that much. I feel like we've been arguing alot lately because im a little sensative right now and he doesn't consider my feelings sometimes am i wrong to be mad at home? I just feel so emotional at the moment

I would be sooo pissed if my husband just texted me he's not coming home. One it's a weeknight, two I'm carrying your frickin child so come comfort me and sleep next to me, and three, I'd feel like I was less important than hanging out with his friends which is a crap feeling in general. This has happened to me a few times where my husband said he'd be home at a certain time and then came home hours later. I get pissed off every. single. time. 
You might be feeling a little emotional right now but that doesn't mean your feelings aren't valid, they totally are! Your reactions might just be a little bit bigger than they were before pregnancy. He needs to be told that he doesn't get to invalidate your feelings because you're pregnant. Your feelings are real and they matter.

I'd be dragging his ass home. My SO ALWAYS comes home when he goes out. Wether he has to work the next day or not. Like he's not some young bachelor that can crash at his buddies after drinking. He's a married man with a child on the way, he should definitely be coming home.

Its completely inappropriate to not come home if you are commited to some one. Unless there is a special circumstance.  Ei : went to babrbque at friend house. Too drunk to drive home. Okay but he went out so he can come home and there is uuber. If you didnt come home i wonder how he would react. My s o would freak out if i didnt come home. So would i. You are right because something isnt right in the situation.

Personally I don't think that's an over reaction at all! I find it's made even worse in these situations like your guy has done too, when they say they'll do one thing i.e. Be home then later on "oh suddenly it has changed" 😤 if the shoe was on the other foot I can't see that going down well. It's infuriating. I'm so sorry Hun, I hope you've already or plan to confront him about it, calmly if possible catch more bees with honey as they say. I've always found that not going in all guns blazing immediately means I get a lot more info but it's so hard has taken me about 10yrs to get it down lol but now I'm pregnant it's almost impossible to be nice or calm if pissed at my guy. 
It's a dick move on his part & somewhere in his mind he would've known you'd have a negative reaction of some sort to it. 
I really hope he offers a sincere apology & realises the turmoil he has caused you & that he doesn't do it again

Girl you are NOT overreacting... I went through the same thing two nights ago. I was willing to look past the fact that he came home late but when he started talking to me sideways like was the one out all night we had a huge blow up... that's the reason I don't like him going out, regardless of what gud evening may thnk the reason is... the real reason is because when he gets home he acts like he has lost his mind, common sense, AND respect. No one wants to break with that crap all the time... now what if it were you and I doing it?? Oh then the issues would be clear as day.

Thanks everyone he always acts like im making a big deal out of nothing but i knew I wasn't the only one that would be mad in this situation honestly im also hurt that he doesn't want see me after a long day all i wanna do is spend time with him and tell him about my day but hed rather not come home at all its not right
