I'd like to reach out to any women and pregnant women living in Broward County Florida. My grandfather is very ill and I just found out today that he has Colon cancer and it has already progressed so bad that they are putting him in hospice. I live in RI and want to travel down to Florida to be with my family and hope to say my final good byes. I already spoke to my doctor who said that the travel bans or warnings for pregnant women are in Miami-dade not Broward but of course couldn't guarantee me that I'd be 100% safe. I'm wondering from the women who actually live there how they feel about it and if you are worried about Zika living in Broward county being so close to Miami-Dade. I feel like I need to be there to help my grandmother out but I am so worried I could be making such a big mistake and could potentially harm my baby. I am currently 13 weeks pregnant. I do plan to  cover myself up as much as possible while outside and to wear bug spray in an effort to lower my risk and stay safe.
