Ectopic Part 2

Ashleigh
I posted the other day about my experience on how I found out about my ectopic and the journey. Yesterday they told me surgery would be the best option, of course, I burst into tears just because it's a hard time and I've never had surgery also this is my first pregnancy.
I had my surgery and I was pretty frightened going in as any women would be knowing that there's a chance your coming back with a tube missing. I woke up from the drugs and panicked and the first thing I remember waking up to was my boyfriend not being in that room and I instantly sat up and made one of the incisions burst(oops). Everything was okah though. The pain was and still is the most painful thing I've ever gone through. It's about 10x the period pain. I can't move much, it's really hard to lift up and to move about, they are thinking about discharging me tonight but honestly I feel alot safer her whilst I'm still in hospital. I can't get comfy and I deffo' don't want anyone to experience this. I do feel lighter on my left side where the tube is now no longer there.
It was the best thing to be very honest as the doctors explained to me after the surgery that it was ready to rupture as the tube started leaking blood and blood was found in my pelvis. They said if I waited for the second methotrexate dose to work which I had on Tuesday 18th April, the outcome may of been worse.
Thanks for all your love and support girls and thought I would keep you all updated on my experience.
